OPBA Business Council
Thought Leadership & Strategic Partners
Industry collaboration supporting Ontario’s public procurement community.
The OPBA Business Council is a focused thought leadership and engagement program designed for organizations whose values and business interests align with OPBA’s public procurement community.
Membership is intentionally limited to support meaningful participation, open dialogue, and collaboration. Business Council organizations work alongside OPBA Board Directors and senior leadership to share insights, ideas, and expertise that support the evolving needs of public procurement professionals across Ontario.
The Council provides informed input on emerging industry trends, innovative solutions, and public sector policy impacts, while helping identify opportunities to strengthen relationships between suppliers and public procurement professionals.
Business Council members are expected to act with integrity and impartiality, align with OPBA’s Code of Ethics and values, and ensure that their contributions support the interests of OPBA members and the broader public procurement profession.
Through this collaborative engagement, Business Council members help foster trusted, transparent relationships between buyers and suppliers and play a role in shaping the future of public procurement in Ontario.
Why the Business Council Matters
The OPBA Business Council creates a space for trusted dialogue between public procurement professionals and strategic industry partners. By sharing perspectives, identifying emerging issues, and contributing ideas, Council members help support a stronger, more informed procurement community.
